Classroom Study is offered as two-day working sessions for
students who need a quiet classroom environment or those who are being paid
by an employer on an hourly basis to prepare for the license exam by completely covering the Home Study Course materials.
The goal of the Classroom Study Sessions is to assist the student in
the completion of their required 16 hours of study and to collect
a completed Study Log from them by the end of the second day.
The cost of the Classroom Study Sessions is $295.00 which includes all Home Study Materials plus classroom time. Lunches and break time refreshments are not included in the cost of the Classroom Study Sessions.
Classroom Study Sessions are offered at various locations around the
state and normally take place on Mondays and Tuesdays; during the winter months, these sessions are only offered in Hillsboro. The time
schedule is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Day 1 and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Day 2 with a one-hour
break at lunch time and two half-hour breaks on each day.
Since the goal of the Classroom Study Sessions is to facilitate the student's
completion of the required 16 hours of study, students may either come
to the sessions having already completed some portion of the study
or complete some of the required study during
the evening of the first day prior to coming to the second day
of the session, and be credited for their study time.
The cost to attend a Classroom Study Session is $150.00 in addition to
the cost of the Home Study course materials. A minimum of 4 students
is required for a scheduled Session to take place. If
the minimum number of students is not reached within 7 calendar
days of the first day of the Session, the class will be canceled
and money refunded.
Students who have signed up for a Classroom Study Session and find that
they cannot attend must cancel prior to 7 calendar days of the
starting date of the Session. Students who are signed up for a
Workshop Session that is canceled due to an enrollment shortfall
will have the cost of the Workshop Session refunded. Students
who enroll for the Workshop Session and fail to attend without
canceling within 7 calendar days prior to the starting date of
the Session will be refunded their money on a case-by-case basis.
